• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in including English Language and Mathematics in  SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must have a minimum score of 140 in the just concluded 2024/2025 UTME.
• Candidate must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the admission
• Candidates must ensure their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB. Those awaiting their ‘O’ Level results should upload them to JAMB as soon as they are available.
• Candidates must have chosen Bauchi State University as their first choice institution or applied for a change of institution through JAMB.

BASUG Direct Entry (DE) Admission Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of five O’ level credits, including English and Mathematics.
• Candidates must score at least 7 points in IJMB or NCE or have at least a lower credit in ND.

Steps on How to Apply for BASUG Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

Candidates should follow the steps below in applying for the Bauchi State University post-UTME form for the 2025/2025 academic session.

• Candidates should visit the Bauchi State University screening portal at www.basug.edu.ng/eportal
• Click on the “Apply Now” Button
• Fill out the online form with a valid email address and phone number.
• Check your email for the activation link sent to you by the UNIMAID
• Click or copy and paste the link in your browser to continue with your application
• Upload the relevant documents
• Submit the form to generate your RRR for payment
• On the generated invoice click ‘Pay Now’ to continue with the payment process. The BASUG post-UTME application form cost is Two Thousand Naira (2,000) only and it is non-refundable.
• Print your invoice and proceed to any of the major banks to make your payment
• You may wish to pay using any of the REMITA available online payment channels (ATM, USSD, etc)
• Click on ”Submit” to submit the application
• Print a copy of the completed form for further screening

How to Pay Bauchi State University Acceptance Fee

• Candidates should visit the Bauchi State University Portal at www.basug.edu.ng/eportal
• Check your admission status
• If have been offered admission the status will be updated. You will be provided with a link to pay your acceptance fee.
• Click on the link and generate your RRR.
• Print or copy the generated RRR and proceed to make your payment. The acceptance fee is Ten Thousand Naira (10,000 )only.
• Print out a copy of the receipt for authentication
