• Candidates must ensure that they have obtained at least credit passes in five O’Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language. This must be achieved in not more than two sittings.

Cut-Off Marks For Specific Programmes

We mentioned that candidates must score at least 150 in JAMB to be eligible for admission at BSU however, some departments require more than 10, see below for details. Check this list to see the category your preferred program falls into:-

• The highest benchmark, 220 or more, is set for programs such as the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and all courses in the Faculty of Architecture.
• For programs under the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, B.Sc. Human Anatomy, and B.Sc. In Human Physiology, a score of at least 180 is required.
• Entry into B.N. Nursing Science, B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science, and B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science demands a score of 200 or above.
• A minimum score of 150 is needed for courses in the Faculties of Arts, Education, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, and Industrial Studies.
