• Candidate must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the admission
• Candidates must ensure their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.
• Candidates who did not choose the Federal University Gusau as their preferred institution must apply through JAMB for a change of institution to the Federal University Gusau before they are eligible to apply.
• Candidates awaiting their O’Level results are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply for Federal University Gusau Post UTME Form 2024/2025

• Log on to the official FUGUS portal at putme.fugusau.edu.ng.
• Click on the “Register for Screening” link from the menu
• Input your JAMB number and click “Submit.” 
• Complete the remaining fields in the form to generate an invoice containing your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
• Proceed to any commercial bank near you to make payment using the RRR.
• After payment, return to the portal and log in with your JAMB number and RRR to finalize the registration.
• Upload a recent passport-sized photograph in .jpeg format with a maximum size of 20KB. Ensure the image meets these specifications, as other formats like .png or .pdf will not be accepted.
• After completing the form, download the online screening acknowledgment slip.

Required Documents for FUGUS Screening/Verification Exercise

Aspirants should arrange the following documents in a document file and get them ready for the screening as the documents will be presented to the screening officials. Here are the required documents:

• Original and photocopies of your WAEC, NECO, GCE, and other equivalent results
• An original copy of the screening slip
• JAMB original result
• DE slip (for Direct Entry candidates)
• Evidence of payment.

How to Pay the Federal University Gusau Acceptance Fee

• Go to the official Federal University Gusau Student Portal at https://www.fugusau.edu.ng.
• Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username and a default password if provided. You may be required to reset your password.
• Navigate to the Acceptance Fee Payment section.
• Generate a payment invoice, which will include: Your full name, Your program/course, and A unique Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the payment.
• Make Payment. You can pay the acceptance fee either online or at a bank:
• Online Payment Use the RRR code to make the payment directly through the Remita platform: https://www.remita.net. Select Pay FGN and State TSA. Enter the RRR, choose your payment method (e.g., debit card, internet banking), and complete the transaction.
• Bank Payment Take the printed payment invoice with the RRR to any commercial bank approved by Remita. Request to make a payment using the RRR code. Pay the specified amount and collect a receipt as proof of payment.
• Confirm Payment once the payment is successful
• Return to the FUGUS portal.
• Navigate to the acceptance fee section and verify the payment using your RRR.
• Download and print the payment receipt for further verification.
