How to Apply for UNIBEN Part-time Admission Form

  • Visit any JAMB CBT Centre to register as a Part-Time Candidate
  • With the JAMB Registration Number obtained, visit http://www.uniben.edu.ng Or https://waeup.uniben.edu/
  • On the UNIBEN.EDU SITE, Select Student Portal; then the Waeup Portal.
  • Use your email address in applying.
  • Click on PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2024/2025
  • Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
  • Provide all necessary information required.
  • An immediate mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
  • Open your mail to get your system-generated ID and Password that you will use to log in.
  • On uniben.waeup.org click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page).
  • Enter your username and password from the mail to log in.
  • To start the application process, please click on ‘Edit application record’ provide all required information, and upload your passport photograph.
  • Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only.
  • To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instructions to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
  • Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online.
  • Print out the Application slip.

Note: You cannot edit your application once after submission.

General Requirements for UNIBEN Part-time Admission

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into the University of Benin part-time programmes.

  • A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects relating to the course you want to study in not more than two sittings.
  • You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.
  • Candidates must score at least 180 in the just concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME examination to be considered for admission into the University of Benin UNIBEN.
  • You must choose UNIBEN as your first/most preferred choice.
  • You must participate in UNIBEN POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission.
  • Candidates must be at least of the age of 16 years before admission.
