  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in including English Language and Mathematics in  SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates must have a minimum score of 200 in the just concluded 2024/2025 UTME.
  • Candidate must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the admission
  • Candidates must ensure their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.
  • Candidates who did not choose the University of Benin as their preferred institution must apply through JAMB for a change of institution to the University of Benin before they are eligible to apply.

How to Apply for the University of Benin Post UTME Form 2024/2025

Applying for UNIBEN Post UTME screening form takes the following steps:

  • Candidates should visit the official university site.
  • Navigate to the ‘Student Portal’ and click on the WAEUP Portal.
  • Click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left.
  • Enter your surname and JAMB Registration number to get your ID and password.
  • Use your username and password to log into the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal.
  • Click on ‘Application record’ to provide all necessary information and upload your passport photograph.
  • Upload your recent “1 x 1” colour passport photo with a red background in JPEG format
  • This image will serve as your identification and will be used in your student ID Card
  • Generate your RRR.
  • Print or copy the generated RRR and proceed to make your payment at any commercial bank. The UNIBEN post-UTME Form is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only and it is non-refundable.
  • Review the information you have provided
  • Click on submit to submit your application
  • Once your application has been submitted a date will be fixed for you to print out your acknowledgment and the screening invitation slips. Visit the portal on the specific date and print out the slips for reference.

How to Pay University of Benin Acceptance Fee

  • Visit the official UNIBEN website via the official university site.
  • Log in to your profile with your ID and password. Note these details are case-sensitive
  • Check your admission status and follow the provided link to pay the acceptance fee.
  • Click on “My Data.”
  • Choose the payment type, i.e. acceptance fee
  • Select “Add online Payment ticket.”
  • Click the “Create ticket” button.
  • Click on “Pay via Remita” to see the payment details.
  • Press the “submit” button to continue with the payment using the inter-switch payment system.
  • Click the “pay” button to complete your payment.
  • Once your payment is successful, an acceptance slip will show up on your screen.
  • Print out the slip and keep it safe for future verification
