Candidate who pass the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME exam and meets the required cut-off mark set by the institution are to participate in this process as it will help the institution to assess candidates’ academic abilities in subjects related to their chosen course of study.

Eligibility Criteria for the UNIJOS Post UTME Form 2024/2025

To apply for the UNIJOS Post UTME screening exercise 2024, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Candidates must have scored at least 180 in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. UNIJOS must be the candidate’s first choice of institution in the UTME.
3. Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply for the UNIJOS Post UTME Form 2024

Follow these steps to apply for the 2024/2025 UNIJOS Post UTME screening:

1. Go to the official UNIJOS portal at https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/
2. Click on “FORM APPLICATION” to commence your application and Select “2024/2025 UTME/DE SCREENING”.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Started”.
4. Create an Account providing your contact phone number and enter an active email address (use a personal email, not one belonging to relatives or friends).
5. Choose a password that is easy to remember and confirm it. Then click the “Sign Up” button.
6. Check your email for a confirmation message from the University and Click the link in the email to confirm your account. This will take you to an acknowledgment page with a link to log in.
7. After confirmation, Go to the login page at https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/
8. Enter your email and password to access your personalized dashboard and ensure your name is entered correctly (First Name, Middle Name, Surname).
9. From your dashboard, click “Pay Screening Charges” Choose a payment method (ATM card, bank branch, or Internet banking) and follow the instructions. Note: If you choose the bank branch option, you may need to return to your dashboard after payment to complete the process.
10. Enter details of five relevant O’Level subjects, including grades and examination bodies to upload the results. Note: You cannot edit your results after submission.
11. Print the Screening Registration Slip for your records and wait for further updates from the University.

Direct Entry Screening Exercise

1. The online screening for Direct Entry applicants runs from 22nd July 2024 to 18th August 2024.
2. Only candidates who applied through JAMB Direct Entry and selected UNIJOS as their first choice are eligible.
3. Follow the same application steps as UTME candidates, but include your A-level subjects/qualifications.

Note: UNIJOS typically conducts its Post UTME screening online. Candidates may be assessed based on their JAMB scores and O’Level results.

Important Notes for Direct Entry Applicants

1. Ensure your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS) are uploaded to the JAMB portal at an accredited CBT center.
2. Candidates who do not meet the screening criteria should consider changing their course or institution.

4. You can use a maximum of two different O’Level exam results.
