Requirements for LASU Post UTME Screening 2024/2025

If you are interested in the LASU Post-UTME Screening, you must first meet these requirements before you even purchase the form:-

  • Applicants must have chosen LASU as their top choice in the 2024 UTME.
  • Applicants are required to score at least 195 in the UTME.
  • Only candidates who will be 16 years or older by October 1, 2024, are eligible.
  • Candidates who completed LASU’s Pre-Degree program and selected LASU as their first choice with a UTME score of 195 or more qualify for the screening.
  • Those who hold a Direct Entry form from JAMB or a LASU Foundation (JUPEB) certificate are eligible.
  •  Candidates from Lagos State who have completed the verification process through the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) are already validated for screening.

How to Apply for LASU Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

Follow the instructions below to pay for and apply for LASU Post-UTME Screening 2024/2025:-

  •  Open Lagos State University’s official website at https://lasu.edu.ng/
  • Select the ‘Student’ menu and click on ‘New Applicants.’
  • Choose the UTME/DE Screening option from the list.
  •  Enter your UTME Registration Number and Surname to continue.
  • Choose the Admission Screening Fee and make your payment.
  • After payment, complete the application and print the Temporary Self-Screening Report.

After completing payment for LASU’s 2024/2025 Admission screening, return to the LASU Admission Screening page (https://lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening) and log in with your UTME Registration Number and Surname. Enter your Transaction ID to proceed.

  1. Fill in your details and UTME information accurately, then save and continue.
  2. Upload your UTME result slip (PDF format, max 30KB), Specify the number of O’Level sittings, then upload each O’Level result slip (PDF format, max 30KB), Enter relevant O’Level details carefully and save each step as you go.

Note:-

  • Candidates must have five (5) Credits in relevant O’Level subjects for their course of choice, within no more than two sittings (Medicine and Dentistry require only one sitting).
  • For Engineering courses using two sittings, you need six (6) O’Level Credits, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, one additional science subject, and one other subject. For Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering, Further Mathematics is required.
  • English Language is mandatory for all courses at LASU.
  • O’Level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS before the screening deadline.
  • Lagos State Origin applicants should ensure their claim of origin is verified by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC), as it will be validated during screening.
  1. Check that all entered details are correct. Select “I Certify” to confirm that the information provided is accurate and final, as the screening decision will be based solely on these details.
  2. After submitting, return to the Screening Homepage. Enter your UTME Registration Number and click Download Result to generate your Screening Report.
