The University of Calabar offers both part-time and full-time courses in its Postgraduate Program.

UNICAL Postgraduate Admission Requirements

Here are the admission requirements needed for the UNICAL Postgraduates Program:

  • Candidates are required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5-point scale 2.50 on a 4-point scale for Master’s programs and 3.50 on a 5-point scale and 3.00 on a 4-point scale for Ph.D programs.
  • A Third class degree pass and above is required for PGD programs.
  • Candidates with Master’s degrees from universities recognized by the University of Calabar senate may credit the relevant courses towards the Ph.D program, provided that the quality of the grade is acceptable to the Postgraduate School.
  • Candidates with HND can also apply.
