How Much Is The Postgraduate Admission Form For UNILORIN 2024/2025?

You can now apply for postgraduate studies at the prestigious University of Ilorin. The University of Ilorin postgraduate form can be obtained via the UNILORIN postgraduate admission portal. Admission Requirements For UNILORIN Postgraduate Programmes 2024/2025

These are the requirements you are to meet in addition to having O’level credits and showing proof that you completed the mandatory NYS program. Note that only applicants who fulfill these admission requirements will be admitted.

Postgraduate Diploma 

• Candidates applying for the Postgraduate Diploma program must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Candidates must have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant field.
• Candidates who hold other qualifications acceptable to the University Senate may also apply.
• All candidates must participate in a selection process.

Master’s Degree 

• Candidates applying for the Master’s Degree program must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, with at least a Second-Class Honours or its equivalent.
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized university must have at least a Credit level pass.
• Candidates holding qualifications other than those listed, which are approved by the University Senate, may also qualify.

Professional Master’s Degree 

• Candidates applying for the Professional Master’s programme must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university with at least a Second-Class Honours or equivalent.
• Candidates with a Third-Class Bachelor’s degree must have at least five years of relevant work experience.
• Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) must have a Credit pass in a Postgraduate Diploma a recognized institution in a relevant area.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) 

• Candidates applying for the PhD programme must have a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• Candidates with a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale in the relevant field.
• Candidates must also possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least a Second-Class Lower division.
• Candidates with other qualifications approved by the University Senate may also be considered.
• Candidates must submit a 500-word synopsis of their proposed research topic.
